Easy to fit

Bought a DG Ivar 5 and full twin wall system from stove fitters. Excellent service and advice from Julian. I got a good deal from a local Hetas fitter, which worked out only £100 more than going through building regs and doing the job myself. However fitter said twin wall was great quality and easy to put together. All up and running in a few hours and really impressed with the quality.

Excellent product

Scenario 10 for wooden studio/shed

Chrome Twin walled flue scenario 10 ... Having received expensive quotes for supply and fit stove and flue, I began to research other options and came across Stovefitters. I have a wooden studio/shed with a pitched roof and decided to attempt it myself. I'm 60 and a female 'have a go DIYer' Speaking to Julian gave me the confidence I needed. I completed the job myself. I took the decision to go straight up through the roof as opposed to out the side wall, this gives me the added advantage of extra heat that comes off the flue which acts like a radiator. I love the chrome which was fortunately cheaper. Everything I needed was in the package, I did buy some exterior sealant which I applied under the flashing and along the edges [so the wind can't grab them]. I would say make sure check you have all the bits you need up on the roof with you before you start, if you are alone. As an extra buffer between the stove and a wood and glass panel, I have a galvanised aluminium slim dustbin with lid for the wood. This doesn't even get hot from the stove and feels like a very safe way to store the wood. I know I have saved £100's, the quotes also covered 2 men working [for safety when working on a roof] I did call Julian couple of times and he was patient and extremely helpful.. thank you Julian

I used DTW chimney system supplied by Stovefitters, very impressive, top quality product, well engineered and very easy to install. The independent Hetas inspector was very impressed with the system and congratulated me on completion of excellent installation.
