The Saltfire Peanut 3 is the smaller brother of the Peanut family and has, as the name suggests a 3kW heat output. This small size of this 3kW Wood Burning Stove makes it most suitable for the smaller room such as a snug, shed, garage, shack etc.

Description

The Peanut 3 shares the contemporary design of the rest of the Peanut range and is the smallest in the family. As with the other Peanuts it is made of cast iron and is durable and long-lasting - all wrapped up in a compact body that could well give the Salamander Hobbit a run for its money.

The Peanut stoves have Fast Flame technology - lighting and re-lighting fires just got a load easier.

This stove is wood only. It is very solid and hence a heavy stove that should provide many decades of service.

Great little log burner and superb customer service

I bought this small log burner for my bedroom and had some doubts about how good it could be, only being 3kW. Not any more! The Peanut lights super easy, burns exceptionally well and will even keep going all night. The air wash system keeps the glass clean and produces a great amount of heat, even from one log. When the log burner arrived, there appeared to be a screw missing from the air wash plate. However, Stovefitter’s Warehouse responded promptly to my query, explained the sometime it comes loose during transit and should be in the fire, behind the sides. That’s exactly where it was. Great service. Even better log burner. Both are highly recommended.

I purchased the Saltfire Peanut 10 Wood Burning Stove from Stove Fitter’s Warehouse. This was for a new garden building, it is the best stove I’ve had and it’s half the price of the most expensive stove I have purchased to date. The recent changes in stove design have really made a noticeable difference to how efficient this stove burns. I have the cook plate and log store option added. It’s a great stove to look at, the flame burns dancing in the large window. It has a very relaxing ambience. It is very easy to use, I am more than satisfied with it. The glass stays clean and it the view is ace. Stove Fitters are also very quick to respond, offer a free flue design service, and give honest qualified advice. I would highly recommend them.

Bignut 5kw

What a lovely looking stove, we went for the Bignut 5 as it’s 5 kw. (Keeps under building reg). Anything larger than 5kw requires an air vent through the wall/floor.
Has a large clear window for viewing too. Also approved DEFRA and compliant eco design.
Quick delivery and kept up to date through the process. Also competitive pricing. Very well packed. Came in two deliveries as we ordered a complete kit for the flexible flue. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from stove fitter’s warehouse again.
