GENERAL INFORMATION

IF A DELIVERY IS URGENT OR YOU ARE WORKING TO A TIGHT TIMESCALE PLEASE MENTION THIS IN YOUR NOTES OR GIVE US A CALL: NAMED DAY OR NEXT DAY CAN USUALLY BE ARRANGED. OTHERWISE DELIVERY WILL BE TREATED AS ON THIS PAGE.

ALL DELIVERY SCHEDULES ARE DEPENDANT ON COURIER COMPANIES AND, ALTHOUGH THE COMPANIES WE CHOOSE ARE VERY GOOD, THEY SOMETIMES DO FAIL TO DELIVER DUE TO TRAFFIC CONDITIONS, MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN, DRIVER BAD DAY ETC. PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND WHEN PLANNING YOUR INSTALL. OUR ADVICE IS TO TAKE DELIVERY AND CHECK ALL GOODS WELL AHEAD OF TIME.

DELIVERY COSTS ENGLAND & WALES*

Many of our stoves are despatched on our own special pallets designed and made by us to help prevent damage (£8 each pallet cost to us). We buy carpet offcuts from a local carpet shop to provide additional sturdy-wrap for stoves that are not well-boxed or crated by the manufacturer.

SCOTLAND & "OVER-WATER DELIVERIES"

If you are on the Scottish mainland and under an imaginary line crossing through Greenock and St. Andrews then same delivery costs as England/Wales.

Above or west of the line please call us for a quote.

We do not deliver over water.

MATERIALS BY PARCELFORCE (smaller items)

Materials delivered by Parcelforce Bulk Item Service should be with you within 5 working days). You SHOULD receive text updates and can re-arrange as required or collect from depot and can even "leave in safe place" or "with neighbour". We can do NEXT day if required usually at no extra charge (we may then switch to a different courier and they may or may not use text updates).

We assume that you are a sensible, competent person embarking, in a calm and professional manner, on the serious task of installing a solid fuel stove. It follows that you plan projects well in advance and use common sense throughout the project timeline. You are able to accept delivery of large items at your or your customer's premises as required.

STOVES AND MATERIALS MIGHT BE TWO SEPARATE DELIVERIES 

IT IS ALWAYS "BEST" IF SOMEBODY IS IN TO ACCEPT THE DELIVERY. Materials may be left if you are not in (you can add notes for the delivery driver in the checkout SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS box e.g. leave in porch/leave with neighbour etc.) but please be aware that goods will be on a pallet or in a very large box.

Do not worry about financial loss due to damaged materials deliveries - we will replace damaged materials if notified swiftly (see our Returns & Refunds page).

MATERIALS DELIVERIES BY PALLET (FULL TWIN-WALL SYSTEMS)

These are delivered by Palletways on a "book in" service (we send the goods and you get a call from your local courier depot to establish a good day). We can do NEXT day for a small extra charge.

We assume that you are a sensible, competent person embarking, in a calm and professional manner, on the serious task of installing a solid fuel stove. It follows that you plan projects well in advance and use common sense throughout the project timeline. You have the smooth surfaces to accept pallet-truck deliveries and can be there to sign for a stove as required.

STOVES AND MATERIALS MIGHT BE TWO SEPARATE DELIVERIES 

So that we know who actually has possession pallets must be signed for (no exceptions). Please see our Returns & Refunds page for further information and to ensure that you are informed of our policy on damage.

There will only be one driver who will unload a pallet from the lorry via a flat and smooth surface to a flat and smooth surface. Drivers will not enter your house. Drivers have the goods on a pallet truck (2" clearance from ground) which DOES NOT do gravel or steps or grass or tight corners. Should goods require returning to us then it is your responsibility to move the goods to a flat and smooth area close to where the lorry driver can access it with his pallet truck. If your location is not suitable for a pallet truck delivery it is for you to organise transfer of the goods to and from a location suitable for the pallet delivery (or collection if returning).

Please keep the pallet and wrapping until you know you are happy with the goods (if goods need to be returned to us we can send webbing straps to assist).

Goods will be delivered to you within approx. 3-5 working days of order. Once your goods are ready for local despatch you will be contacted by our agent or a courier and you will then be able to nominate a day for delivery.

AS THESE ARE COMMERCIAL PALLET-BASED DELIVERY COMPANIES YOU WILL NOT BE PROVIDED WITH A TIME OF DAY. THE GOODS CAN ARRIVE ANY TIME BETWEEN 8AM AND 6.30PM AND THERE IS A VERY SMALL POSSIBILITY GOODS MAY NOT ARRIVE ON THE DAY STATED. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CALLING US "ON THE DAY" AS ALL WE CAN SAY IS THAT THE GOODS ARE "OUT FOR DELIVERY".

If a stove is in stock then it will be delivered to you within approx. 3-5 working days of order. If a stove is not in stock then it will likely be delivered to you within 5-10 working days of order. In a small percentage of cases (especially regarding coloured stoves) the wait can be up to 6 weeks. PLEASE EMAIL OR CALL FOR A ROUGH ETA PRIOR TO ORDERING IF ANY OF THESE SCHEDULES WOULD PRESENT A PROBLEM. Once your stove is ready for local despatch you will be contacted by our agent or a courier and you will then be able to nominate a day for stove delivery.
