Vitreous pipe: 6" heavy-grade vitreous flue pipe: various lengths available

Connects to top of the stove.

To strengthen flue pipe connections use short metal to metal self tappers, available in our Useful Items collection.

As with all vitreous pipe the bottom end narrows to a lesser diameter to enable insertion into other pieces of pipe (male is always on top). Key reason is that any condensation that trickles down inside pipe cannot escape. Straight lengths can be cut using a grinder and 115mm cutting disc (available from this online store).

Top tip: No fire cement or glue of any kind is used when connecting vitreous pipe to vitreous pipe - it is just push-fit. When to use fire cement on flue joints? Use the SEARCH function and type "sealing flue joints".

Great service received

Very happy with my stove. It looks fantastic in our living room. Very happy with the service we received.

First class product and service

I’m very pleased with my Ivar 8 - a quality good looking stove that’s easy to use. Controllable and can pump out some serious heat when you want it to.

Great Product - Vitreous Pipe

I chose and installed the vitreous pipe from Stovefitters as I was confident of a quality product. True enough the item was heavy gauge and fits really well into my stove with minimal gap to fill. The tapered end engages well into the stove creating a tight joint.

Excellent service

Can't fault Stove Fitters Warehouse. I saved myself well over 1k by buying the two dg ivar 8 wood burning stoves from them and fitting myself with their advice
