1X NARROW LOCKING BAND REQUIRED
IMPORTANT: ON THE BLACK VERSION OF THIS ITEM THE SNOUT IS NOT MEANT TO BE ON SHOW AND MUST BE FULLY HIDDEN INSIDE VITREOUS PIPE OR STOVE AS THE PAINT WILL BURN OFF (ONLY ON THE SNOUT). YOU MAY THEREFORE NEED TO CUT THE SNOUT DOWN A LITTLE FOR SOME STOVES.
This part can slip into the female end of a length of vitreous (NOT the tapered end) OR directly into a stove if going "twin wall all the way".
This part is always a loose fit. Manufacturers undersize the snouts to fit ALL stoves. Stove makers oversize the collar to fit all pipes and snouts.
Use fireproof webbing wrapped around snout. Fire cement works but cracks and falls out over time.
Because it is insulated the clip-together twin wall flue pipe can be as close as 5cm to combustible materials and is completely safe (7cm if the flue is boxed in). It typically gets no hotter than a radiator.
5" twin wall has a outer diameter of 192mm and 6" has a diameter of 217mm.

This is a twin wall clip-together chimney part used to build a new chimney. Twin wall clip-together chimney can be as close as 5-7cm to combustible materials (so is also useful for adding atop a stove to bypass a wooden beam).
Stove Fitter's Warehouse offers a full Twin Wall Design Service with all designs prepared within our Twin Wall Design Studio.
Duraflue Twin Wall was launched to the market during 2014 and, due to its high quality and innovative design, is already a favourite amongst professional stove fitters. Brackets are strong whereas other brands may be spindly and quality is premium. Do it once - do it good.
Top tip: No fire cement or glue of any kind is used when connecting twin wall pipe to twin wall pipe - it is just push-fit (with a locking band for added security).
